Leo Burnett’s Selonica Perumal recognized at the Top 50 Professional & Career Women Awards

Selonica Perumal, Executive Director of Publicis, part of Leo Burnett group Sri Lanka was recently recognized with the award for Leadership Excellence in the Field of Advertising at the Top 50 Professional & Career Women Awards that took place at the Shangri-La Hotel and were conducted by Women in Management. Selonica received the award for her contribution to the field of marketing communications and her 15 year long career in working in the spheres of Brand Management and Client Servicing.

Launched by Women in Management (WIM) in 2011, this unique awards programme honours and shines a light on women who have contributed to the economic growth of Sri Lanka and have demonstrated an ability to seize opportunities, deliver excellence and overcome challenges, time and time again. The award places Selonica amongst a select group of women achievers in Sri Lanka who have defied all odds, broken through glass ceilings, facilitated positive change and become role-models to the country’s next generation of young professionals and entrepreneurs.  This awards programme has become one of the country’s foremost platforms dedicated to celebrating remarkable women from a cross section of industries and businesses.
