Listen to them speak about their arduous trek to the ‘top of the world’. “No one ever conquers Everest, with luck one will only summit it”, the celebrated duo chorus humbly and in unison as they recall those unforgettable moments … as Jay reached the summit at 8848 metres in the early hours of Vesak Poya morning in 2016 … and Johann’s anguish and frustration when his oxygen tank exhausted at 8400 metres, leaving him with no option but to turn back at seeing distance of the summit.
The multi-talented duo take a walk down Memory Lane as old Josephian Johann speaks about his love for hair dressing and dancing while old Bishopian Jayanthi waxes eloquent on her crusade for women’s rights.
