INSEE Cement was recognized with a prestigious award for its exceptional contributions to sustainability, innovation, and environmental stewardship in the construction industry.
These accolades not only reflect the hard work, commitment and passion of every member of the INSEE team but also underscore the company’s dedication to shaping a greener future for Sri Lanka and beyond.
A major milestone for INSEE Cement was the recertification of our flagship product, INSEE Sanstha; Portland Composite Cement, as a Green Labeled Product by the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka. For the first time, this product earned an outstanding 5-star rating, making INSEE the first cement company in the industry to achieve this prestigious recognition. This achievement was made possible by our existing Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) certification, which aligns with the ISO 14025 standard. The EPD is a globally recognized framework that provides detailed, standardized, and third party-verified information into the environmental performance of products throughout their lifecycle.
