09 October 2024-- youth sports (LBN)

Wednesday 09 October 2024, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, inaugurated the 2nd phase of the training course on traffic management and social awareness organized by the Directorate of Youth Development at the National Sports Council Auditorium in Dhaka. Under this course, a total of 2,100 trainees will be trained in 7 batches of 300 in each batch for two days.

Advisor Asif Mahmud said that traffic congestion is one of the problems of Bangladesh. After the fall of the fascist government on August 5, there was no government in the country for three days. At that time, the students came down to restore order on the road. The students were the first to come forward with the help of the traffic police to resolve the traffic jam. Despite having no training, young students work tirelessly day and night to manage road traffic.

The adviser of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Labor and Employment also said that the youth should take responsibility for the reconstruction of the country. We want to build a modern and beautiful country by utilizing the power of youth. For this, everyone should be aware of traffic laws. Social awareness should be spread among all about traffic laws. Traffic management needs to shift from manual to modern.

Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Rezaul Maqchud Zahedi said that the traffic management of students after the July uprising had set an unprecedented precedent; We have benefited from it. We will be able to build a beautiful Bangladesh through the guidance of the honorable adviser and the collective efforts of all.

Director General of Youth Development Department (Grade-1) Gazi Md. Saifuzzaman presided over the event.
