22 September 2024--doy--sports-ministry (LBN)

Sunday 22 September 2024  and social awareness organized by the Directorate of Youth Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, inaugurated a two-day training course on traffic managementDevelopment at the National Sports Council Auditorium in Dhaka. Under this course, a total of 2,100 trainees will be trained in 7 batches of 300 in each batch for two days.

Advisor Asif Mahmud said that traffic congestion is one of the problems of Bangladesh. As a result our precious labor hours are wasted. After the fall of the fascist government on August 5, there was no government or traffic police in the country for three days. At that time, the students came down to restore order on the road. Despite having no training, young students work tirelessly day and night in road traffic management. We could not feel the emptiness of the traffic police in their tireless work. Even the young students work hard day and night to keep the law and order situation of the country fair and normal and play an important role.

The adviser of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Labor and Employment also said that the youth should take responsibility for the reconstruction of the country. We want to build a modern and beautiful country by harnessing the power of youth. For this, everyone should be aware of traffic laws. Social awareness should be spread among all about traffic laws. Traffic management needs to shift from manual to modern. Everyone is urged to obey the traffic laws.

Among others, the secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Mohiuddin Ahmed, Director General of Youth Development Department Gazi Md. Saifuzzaman was present at the event.
