Idea Group of Companies that offer revolutionary roofing solutions and interior decorating solutions to Sri Lankans engaged in a worthy cause. The company by donating i-Panel ceiling sheets contributed towards restoration process of the devastated St Sebastian’s Church in Katuwapitiya, Negombo.
This project was treated not only as CSR but also as a just cause by a socially responsible Sri Lankan company. The plaque with regard to the donation was handed over to Archbishop of Colombo and Sri Lankan Cardinal of the Catholic Church, Malcolm Ranjith at his official residence, by Mr. Sampath Mayakaduwa, Chairman, Idea Group Limited.
In the event of natural disasters such as floods, landslips, tornados and storms occur within the country, all Sri Lankans come forward to assist the masses and so does the Idea Group.
Idea Group came forward to contribute towards renovations of the Katuwapitiya church as a generous gesture towards Catholic community in the country. Idea Group treats all Sri Lankans alike irrespective of their religion, race of caste and believes firmly in coexistence of all communities.

The largest ASA Polymer factory in South Asia owned by the Idea Group that produces i-Panel ceiling sheets and i-Roof products is situated at Katana in the vicinity of the devastated church in Katuwapitiya.
