The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) hosted an International Conference on Business, Technology and Innovation on 9-10 November 2024 at the ICMAB premises, Nilkhet, Dhaka. This conference showcased 50 research papers covering a wide range of cutting-edge topics, with themes including Sustainable Business Practices and Analytics, FinTech and Sustainable Finance, Technological Innovation and Business Sustainability, Startups and Entrepreneurship, Financial and Sustainability Reporting, and Corporate Governance and Performance.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Md. Selim Uddin, Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. ICMAB President, Mr. Mahtab Uddin Ahmed FCMA, delivered the presidential address, while Mr. Mohammed Salim FCMA, Conference Chair and former ICMAB President, extended a warm welcome. The keynote address was presented by Dr. Md. Musfiqur Rahman FCMA, Professor of AIS of the University of Dhaka.
The conference drew active participation from past presidents, councilors, members, scholars, and students. It was concluded with a vote of thanks from ICMAB Vice-President, Mr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA.
