Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart device manufacturer launched the Huawei nova 4 recently. With the changes and growth of customer requirements the upper mid-range smartphone category is increasingly becoming popular. The Huawei nova 4 is interesting in a lot of aspects, but the feature which stands out is that the device comes with an innovative built-in camera which is also the world’s smallest camera set up in the front of a smartphone.

Huawei has added the 25MP camera to the front on the top left corner which has no interference with the apps in the smartphone. The nova 4 tactfully comes with a secretive ambient light sensor and uses a micro-slot earpiece to maximize the screen usage.

Peter Liu Huawei Device Country Head said. “Huawei is a brand which is continuously innovating for the benefit of our customers taking technology to the next level. The front camera on Huawei nova 4 is the smallest module in the smartphone industry in the present. It measures just 3.5mm and ensures that the overall diameter of the front camera opening is just 4.5mm, which a uniqueness”.

Supplementing the revolutionary under-display camera technology, the Huawei nova 4 has pushed the limit of a bezel-less smartphone body further enhancing user experiences. The screen-to-body ratio of 86.3%.

With the new introduction to Sri Lanka Huawei continues to focus on its ultra-wide angle feature, combining the 20MP+16MP+2MP triple rear cameras into a sophisticated smart photography device that allows for an image capture that stretches across 117 degrees, but the ultra-wide photography feature is likely enough to excite any photography enthusiasts. The proximity sensor, receiver, ambient light sensor, indicator LED and earpiece are all part of the traditional notch design, and they have all but disappear on the front view of the Nova 4.

The performance of the device is further enhanced with the Kirin 970 Chipset, 8GB RAM and an ample storage of 128GB. The latest operating version, EMUI 9.0, boosts the performance of the nova 4 device in significant ways, including AI stabilizer, HDR Pro, AI video recording with individual spotlight reel, customized caller ID and live call image beautification. Introducing Huawei’s latest AI features, with a simple scan of the phone, the HiVision of nova 4 is able to bring multiple AI experience through scene and object recognition, including AI Shopping, AI Calories and more. The device is also supported by 2.0 GPU Turbo acceleration for optimal gaming experience, nova 4 also holds a 3,750mAh battery with 18W fast charging function.
