HNB recently inaugurated a Cash Recycle Machine (CRM) at the Digital Banking Zone, located within the Defence Headquarters Complex in Akuregoda, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte.
The CRM marked an important milestone in HNB’s service offerings as HNB’s 800th Self Service Machine (SSM) in the nation. The advanced facility will provide the numerous personnel working at the complex with convenient access to self-banking needs such as withdrawals, deposits, real-time fund transfers, credit card settlements, cash to mobile withdrawals, mobile reloads, utility and other bill payments.
Secretary to the Ministry of Defence General Kamal Gunaratne was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. HNB Senior Manager Digital Banking Chakshika Amarawardhana, HNB Senior Manager- Employee Banking, Piyakara Jayaratne, HNB Manager Battaramulla Customer Centre, Dineth Rajapakse, Senior Officers of Defence Ministry and Tri-forces, and senior bank officials also participated in the event.
With 254 customer centres and 800+ Self Service Devices (SSMs) nationwide, HNB is one of Sri Lanka’s largest, most technologically innovative private banks. Consolidating its legacy in sustainability, good governance and corporate excellence, HNB was crowned the Best Corporate Citizen for 2022 at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Best Corporate Citizen Awards. Additionally, HNB was ranked among the World’s Top 1,000 Banks list compiled by the prestigious UK-based Banker Magazine for the sixth consecutive year in 2022, in addition to being crowned the Best Retail Bank in Sri Lanka for the 13th occasion at the prestigious International Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards 2023 hosted by the Asian Banker Magazine.
