HNB will invite current account holders with a strong banking record who have also continuously maintained an average monthly credit balance of Rs. 200,000 or more to upgrade to a Premier Account. Current account holders of other banks who meet these criteria are also eligible and can make inquiries from any HNB branch in this regard. The product is offered to eligible personal customers, SMEs and organisations such as charities and clubs.
At present, HNB’s Current Account offers many value-additions to customers. These include quick cheque realisation, convenient access via any of HNB’s 254 customer centres or network of over 780 ATMs islandwide and cash deposit machines island wide, as well as access through any VISA enabled ATM locally or globally. Other benefits are free e-statements, eligibility for e-banking, cash deposit cards for bulk deposits 24×7 in fewer transactions at cash deposit machines, a ‘VISA HNB Super Shopper Debit Card’ with free SMS alerts on ATM withdrawals and purchases.
