Hela Apparel Holdings receives ISO 14064-1:2018 certification for the second consecutive year

Colombo, Sri Lanka, Affirming the company’s unwavering dedication to ensuring a trajectory towards net zero by 2050, Hela Apparel Holdings received the ISO 14064-1:2018 certification for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions across the Group, for the second consecutive year.

A comprehensive group-wide GHG inventory assessment was carried out, taking into account all relevant direct and indirect emissions within Hela’s operational boundary under four categories, which included Category 01 – Direct GHG emissions and Removals, Category 02 – Indirect GHG emissions from imported Energy, Category 03 – Indirect GHG emissions from transportation, and Category 04 – Indirect GHG emissions of the products used by the organization.

The certificate was presented by the Sustainable Future Group (SFG) during a ceremony held at the Hela head office in Sri Lanka.
