Great Place to Work® Sri Lanka Hosts Workshop on Effective People Management

In a bid to revolutionize organizational culture and foster effective leadership, the “How to be an Effective People Manager” workshop by Great Place to Work® Sri Lanka was set to equip People Managers with the essential skills and knowledge needed to drive positive change within their teams. Hosted by esteemed Gallup certified Strengths-Coach, Rajagopalan Sreekumar, the workshop aimed to empower managers to cultivate trust-based relationships and create thriving work environments.

 



 

With nearly 25 years of rich experience across various sectors, including corporate, government, NGO, and educational institutions, Sreekumar is renowned for his transformative coaching and training sessions. Drawing from his expertise in Appreciative Inquiry, EFT, NLP, and Enneagram, Sreekumar has facilitated sessions in over 123 organizations, fostering a deep, memorable experience for participants.

The workshop focused on crucial topics such as the significance of trust in teams and the pivotal role of managers in fostering a culture of trust and collaboration. Participants gained practical insights and tools to enhance trust and engagement within their teams, ultimately driving organizational success.

During the workshop, participants focused on the importance of trust within teams and the indispensable role of managers in nurturing a culture rooted in trust and collaboration. Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, participants were equipped with tangible tools and strategies to enhance team cohesion, foster innovation, and achieve collective goals, thereby contributing to the overall success and sustainability of their organizations.

The workshop spanned two consecutive days, with each session hosting more than 40 participants, including people managers from diverse organizations. By tapping into the insights and strategies offered during the workshop, participants gained actionable insights that included the ability to identify opportunities for enhancing trust within their teams, develop straightforward action plans to reinforce workplace relationships and instil a culture of continuous improvement. Armed with these newfound skills, attendees left empowered to cultivate and nurture thriving workplace cultures, and steer their teams toward shared objectives for organizational success.
