Thursday 8th August 2024, Colombo: Golden Island Hospitality Private Limited has entered into an agreement with the renowned Majestic Group Hotels & Casinos, a leading gaming group from India, to establish the Majestic Pride Casino, Sri Lanka. The casino will be housed in the prestigious Lotus Tower located in Colombo 10, promising a world-class gaming experience.
The Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization & National Policies of Sri Lanka has granted a Casino Business License under the Casino Business (Regulation) Act, No.17 of 2010 to M/S Golden Island Hospitality Private Limited. This significant development, finalized on 5th July 2024, marks the beginning of a new era in Sri Lanka’s gaming and hospitality sector.
An agreement with the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka was also signed on 1st August 2024, under Section 17(2) of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka Law No.4 of 1978, further solidifying this venture.
The Majestic Pride Casino in Sri Lanka is set to elevate the gaming landscape with its extensive array of gaming options.
