Colombo, February 2024 – Gapstars, a B2B service provider helping fast-growing tech companies grow rapidly with high-performing agile remote development teams in Sri Lanka, hosted its highly anticipated Scale-Up Party on February 16th, 2024, marking a significant milestone in its journey of growth and innovation. The annual event was the culmination of ‘Scale-Up Week’, hosting a delegation of more than 50 international guests from the global tech industry. This year’s edition included a series of engaging workshops and events designed to empower partners and employees with valuable insights and knowledge. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in workshops focused on Agile principles and the transformative potential of AI, led by industry experts Azeem Saheer from Luminary and Dr. Sagara Sumathipala of Gapstars, respectively.
The final event, held at Port City, Colombo, brought together industry leaders, partners, employees, and community members to celebrate the company’s extraordinary achievements and future and plans.
Highlighting the spirit of innovation and collaboration, the Scale-Up Party culminated in the spectacular ‘Moon Party’ at Port City, featuring electrifying performances by Naadro and 2Forty2, along with mesmerizing fire dancing acts. The evening was hosted by the charismatic Fahad Farook, creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

In addition to celebrating achievements, Gapstars also took the opportunity to give back to the community through its charity initiatives, in collaboration with The Liv Foundation. Visiting The Cholankande Technical School, Gapstars engaged with donors, discussed progress, and laid plans for future initiatives, reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility and community development.
