31st May 2023, Colombo: Serendipity came to the fore in the case of Herman Somasundaram – CEO, Future.i, and Trishan Satyadheva – Managing Director – Nabco UK, whose decades-old friendship as classmates transformed into a strategic business partnership after the two entrepreneurs discussed a business proposition between Nabco UK and Future.i. This encounter resulted in Futuri.i being appointed as the branding and communications agency for Nabco UK, one of the leading independent retail solutions providers in UK and Ireland, which is on an ambitious expansion drive.

Commenting on the dynamic alliance, Trishan Satyadheva – Managing Director of Nabco UK said, “This is one of the best partnerships we have entered into. From our first project I knew straightaway that Future.i is the right marketing communication agency. Herman and his team understand our vision and they clearly articulate our purpose, and most importantly, they understand our heartbeat. It’s easy to work with a team who understands our business. I am confident that this partnership will flourish for many years.”

The two partners share an intuitive grasp of the other’s aspirations and deliverables, thereby eliminating time wastage. Future.i not only listens and delivers but has observed and analyzed how it can best support Nabco UK in its mission of transforming the retail landscape around the world. The two organisations work as one family – bridging cultural and geographical divides between Sri Lanka and the UK, while respecting the others’ unique differences as a role-model partnership.

This thriving partnership has proved highly fruitful at the recent Euroshop 2023, the No. 1 retail trade fair, where Nabco UK won a highly coveted award for best marketing from its supply partner, Modern Expo. Future.i is proud to have worked round the clock to deliver materials for the trade fair in Dusseldorf, Germany, in a timely manner which created a buzz and awareness for Nabco’s presence at the fair.

Thereafter, Nabco UK along with Vasyl Matviiuk – Managing Director UK & Ireland, Modern Expo, presented the same award to Future.i as a token of its appreciation for the agency’s hard work and dedication.

Herman Somasundaram – CEO of Future.i said, “We don’t always come across clients who are appreciative and value our involvement in their business. Our partnership with Nabco has grown to be a ‘beyond transactional business partnership’. The approach and the outlook of the leadership of Nabco, starting from Trishan, is highly commendable. We are extremely proud that our work has helped Nabco to win the best marketing award.”

The two partnering organizations are looking ahead with optimism to expand this partnership globally to other markets.

Future.i is focused on helping brands tell their stories to the world by creating a presence that engages minds and inspires action, engaging with start-ups, blue-chip and Fortune 500 companies. The company boasts a dynamic team of storytellers, digital strategists, designers, developers, and client ambassadors who are committed to quality offering strategic planning to marketing and advertising.
