Leo Multiple District 306, Sri Lanka is the administrative body that consists of Six Leo Districts with 176 Leo Clubs in Sri Lanka.  With over 12,500 members, Leos of Sri Lanka is the country’s largest youth volunteer service organization. Covering all across the island as 306A1, 306A2, 306B1, 306B2, 306C1, and 306C2, all governed under the Leo Multiple District 306 along with the theme of “Inspire to Thrive” with the leadership of Leo Lion Dilshan Peiris.

Functioning as a youth volunteer movement since 1969, Leos of Sri Lanka has undertaken many novel initiatives and services to uplift the Sri Lankan community. FusionV was one of those initiatives introduced by Leos of Sri Lanka in recent history giving an opportunity for the youth to be involved in the current issues.

FusionV 2022 – The Voice of Youth for an Empowered Future, was organized for the Second Consecutive year by the Leo Multiple District 306 Sri Lanka. It was the first attempt to discuss the current social, economic, and political crisis in public.

This was another effort of bringing all the Youth volunteer movements in the country on one platform with the objective of addressing the possible solutions that youth in Sri Lanka can adhere to, to overcome this ongoing crisis.

The event was organized as a panel discussion and it was successfully concluded on 27th May 2022 from 4.00 PM onwards at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University Auditorium Ratmalana with the participation of distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest of the event, Lion Srilal Fernando PMJF Lions Multiple Council Chairman of Lions Multiple District 306 Sri Lanka, panelists including Ms. Kasturi Chellaraja Wilson – Group Chief Executive Officer of Hemas Holdings PLC, Mr. Saliya Peiris PC – President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, Mr. Dhananath Fernando – Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Advocata Institute and Lion Mahesh Pasqual PMJF PMAF – Endorsed Candidate for the Office of International Director of Lions Clubs International and Managing Director of Isuru Engineering (Private) Limited. The discussion was moderated by Amodh Jayasinghe – Senior Team Lead, Peoples Operations of Sysco Labs.

Furthermore, the event was graced by Rtr. Akila Adheeshwara – District Rotaract Representative of Rotaract District 3220 Sri Lanka & Maldives, Bhanuka Hathurusinghe – Country President of AIESEC Sri Lanka, Lions, and many Leo leaders as well.
