The Expolanka Toastmasters Club held its 13th Installation Ceremony at the EFL Campus Auditorium, under the theme “Redefining Excellence.” The event welcomed new leadership and celebrated the club’s past achievements. Bokuto Yamauchi San, Chairman and Group CEO of Expolanka Holdings, served as Chief Guest, with Guest of Honor Saif Yusoof, Managing Director of EFL, Classic Travel, ITX360, Peri Logistics and Oki Doki and District Director Ganga Fernando, DTM
The evening kicked off with a vibrant display of Traditional Sri Lankan Bera drumming and dancers. Additionally, Reverb, Oki Doki’s in-house band brought the auditorium to life with a soulful musical performance.
The event was further elevated by the attendance of key figures from the Toastmasters community, including Program Quality Director Niroshan Nadarajah, DTM and Club Growth Director Bhathiya Hettiarachchi, DTM alongside distinguished senior management from the Expolanka Group. A key highlight of the evening was the formal handover of leadership, with TM Zafrana Nafees, who works as the DGM Strategic Marketing & CSR – Expolanka Leisure Cluster, ITX360 and Oki Doki being installed as the new Club President, succeeding Immediate Past President TM Ikhlas Imtiaz.
TM Zafrana unveiled the club’s theme for the year, “Redefining Excellence,” noting:
“Excellence Redefined represents our commitment to going beyond conventional standards and continuously pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve together. This year, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of our programs, adding tangible value to our members, and fostering a culture of innovation and growth. By redefining excellence, we aim to inspire each member to reach new heights and collectively elevate our club’s impact within the Expolanka Group.”
