Dolce Italia, the only authentic Italian restaurant in Sri Lanka that sources local products to create original Italian cuisine, has launched an assortment of exclusive Christmas gift hampers filled with popular favourites from its range of Italian products.
This launch is subsequent to Dolce Italia’s recent revelation of a new and exciting range of Italian products and flavours branded as ‘I Sapori di Dolce Italia’, meaning ‘The flavours of sweet Italy’, which offers Italian dishes made from well-sourced fresh local produce, with all-natural ingredients, making it healthy to eat. The range comprises ravioli, lasagna, pasta sauces, jams, chutneys, pâté, frozen pizzas and an assortment of delicious cookies.
A loyal clientele and constant demand for its products within a short period of just three months post-launch, led Dolce Italia to extend its reach by making the products, which were initially available only at its restaurant in Colombo 5, to leading supermarkets across the country that include Cargills, Keells and Laugfs. The positive response that was received has now prompted the subsequent launch of a selection of exclusive Italian Christmas gift hampers packed with popular picks from its range.

The hampers sports a collection of pasta sauces such as the Spicy Tomato Sauce with Black Olives, Fresh Vegetable Pasta Sauce, Classic Amatriciana Pasta Sauce, Beef Bolognese Sauce, Chicken Bolognese Sauce, Authentic Genovese Pesto Sauce and Traditional Pasta Sauce with Anchovies, whilst the Frozen Pizza range offers popular Italian favourites such as Margherita and Arrabbiata that take just eight minutes to heat and eat. Other goodies include the Ravioli range that offers Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli, Pumpkin and Ricotta Ravioli, Four Cheeses Ravioli, Chicken Ravioli, Beef Ravioli, Seafood Ravioli and Mushroom Ravioli, whilst the Lasagna range includes Chicken, Beef and Vegetarian.
