‘Envoy London’ savours success at Kensington High Street, London

Colombo. Tuesday 02 November 2021. Envoy London, the iconic fashion brand, has been enjoying great success among the elite shoppers of Kensington High Street in London, ever since it opened its doors in the thick of the Covid-19 pandemic, in April 2020.

The story began two decades ago when former England cricket captain and celebrated commentator Tony Greg became the first ever Brand Ambassador for Envoy London.

Years down the line, in 2015, the story took a modern day spin when Sri Lankan fashion guru Fouzul Hameed’s piece-de-resistance men’s fashion brand ‘Envoy London’ became the brand of choice for the prestigious Mr. England competition that year.

Since then, this Sri Lankan home-grown brand has continued to win the confidence and admiration of discerning shoppers on London’s fashion promenade

Elaborating on the success of Envoy London, its creator, fashion mogul Fouzul Hameedia, referred to the brand as a portrayal of a “true gentleman.”

“Envoy has become a world class brand that has developed a total solution for gentlemen’s fashion requirements around the world. The philosophy behind Envoy is creating world-class luxury clothing. Moreover, absolute precision and attention to detail in the quality control process enable sheer perfection in the haute couture portfolio produced by Envoy. The wearer thus luxuriates in the feel and comfort of a high-end luxury product with superior quality”, he says.

Laying claim to its fame in the international fashion arena is Envoy London’s collaboration with Mr. England over the past six years. The top three contenders vying for the title are given the opportunity to represent Envoy London as Brand Ambassadors for the duration of their reign.

The first ever brand representation was in 2015 by the then Mr. England winner, Christopher Bramell. The brand thereafter gained further prominence in 2017 by Mr. England, Jack Eyers, and 1st runner up, Jack Heslewood, who then went onto to win the coveted Mr. World title in 2019.

This year too, Mr. England 2021 Liam Ulla, 1st runner up Lewis Hussle, and 2nd runner up Jake Mathot work closely with the brand. Prior to the grand finale on 17th August, were the preliminary rounds of selection where the Brand Ambassadors made an official visit to the Envoy London store to select their attire for the grand finale.

Speaking of the quality of the product Hameed went on to say that “Envoy London products are made using the finest fabrics, superior craftsmanship and best accessories to embody the definition of sartorial excellence”.

Exuding a quintessence of luxury and elegance, Envoy London is meticulous about its choosing the correct designs, innovations, technology and the finest fabrics which are from some of the world-famous mills, such as Ermengildo Zegna, Loro Piana, Vitale Barberies (VBC), Cerruti, Dormruli, Cotonificio Albini, Thomas Mason, Tessitura Monti, and some top-of-the-line Asian fabrics.

The Envoy London store at Kensington High Street has a comprehensive selection of formal, casual, ceremonial, smart casual, leather, and accessories, including made-to-order and made-to-measure tailoring options. “Envoy London provides the best solution for fashion conscious and discerning men who are look to high-end clothing to create lasting impressions,” stated Hameed.

Its close collaboration with the Mr. England pageant and the brand’s own acceptance among fashion conscious gentlemen internationally, have made Envoy London’s rise to stardom mercurial.
