Enchanteur, the much-asked-for perfume brand, which has attracted consumers like no other brand, has donated a building to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital (LRH) for Children in Colombo, where the parents and children can stay during their hospital visits. The event to inaugurate the building was recently held at the LRH premises, and was attended by the Hospital’s Director, Dr. G. Wijesooriya and other staff members, and representatives of ‘Enchanteur’. Located strategically within the Hospital, this shelter offers a comfortable waiting area where parents can find solace while their children receive the care they need. This is one among many corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects that have been carried out by ‘Enchanteur’ over the past.
Having been established in 1895, the LRH is a leading hospital located in Colombo with a bed-strength of over 1,000. It has been serving as the national referral centre for pediatric care for Sri Lanka over 100 years, and also serves as local pediatric hospital for the population in and around Colombo for emergency and outpatient care services. Attending the event, Dr. Wijesooriya said that he believed that the newly erected shelter by ‘Enchanteur’ is not only a physical structure, but something that represents Enchanteur’s commitment to improve the well-being of the communities it serves. World renowned ‘Enchanteur’ is marketed and distributed in Sri Lanka by UTN Trading Company Private Limited, a leading marketing and distribution company and sole agent for a range of renowned Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products.
