In celebration of its tenth anniversary, EDOTCO Group Sdn Bhd, the region’s integrated telecommunications infrastructure services provider, has unveiled a new brand identity and enhanced its mission to create a more sustainable and equitable connectivity for its nine footprint countries in Asia.

Since its inception, the company has continued shaping the telecom industry across the South and South-East Asian region by providing innovative and sustainable multi-purpose infra solutions.

As a forward-looking company, EDOTCO’s redefined brand purpose of ‘Shaping Future Connectivity‘ encapsulates EDOTCO’s future-centric vision of leading sustainable digital connectivity in Asia. It has also introduced four refreshed brand pillars that enshrine the company’s overarching focus on building a connected future for societies around the globe while nurturing a corporate culture that fulfils the demands of tomorrow’s workforce.

Speaking at the brand launch event with its customers in the Sri Lanka office, EDOTCO Group Chairman, Dr. Nik Ramlah Nik Mahmood said, “The resilience of the Sri Lankan people is universally recognised and admired. The population is talented and has the potential to improve the country’s digital economy; with adequate support and an investor-friendly environment, this goal could be easily attained. EDOTCO’s regional experience in the last ten years, as well as its enhanced services, products, and innovations, will enable it to meet the country’s evolving needs and shape the digital future. Our primary goal is to develop a resilient telecommunications infrastructure in Sri Lanka which will support the nation’s digital transformation.”

The event also witnessed the officiation of EDOTCO Sri Lanka’s landmark multi-purpose lamp pole at the Lotus Tower Colombo; the 675th multi-purpose structure of its kind constructed in Sri Lanka.

Mr. Gayan Koralage, Acting Country Managing Director, EDOTCO Services Lanka (Private) Limited added, “EDOTCO Services Lanka (Private) Limited has been at the forefront of the country’s telco infrastructure landscape since 2018 and the Company is committed to provide the latest telecommunication infrastructure facilities in the island with our extensive multi-purpose lamp pole network. As a ‘neutral party host’ telecom infrastructure provider, we take pride in renting space to all telco operators, with view to connecting the under-served and bridging the digital divide in the island”.

The refreshed EDOTCO logo uses an ellipsis as the core of EDOTCO’s visual identity to represent ‘what’s next’ and ‘connection’, which is aligned with the Group’s brand purpose of Shaping Future Connectivity. Representing boldness and dynamism with a striking green palette, it emphasises that EDOTCO goes beyond towers and celebrates the innovative progress that the Group’s infrastructure enables others to achieve.

Since its inception in 2012, EDOTCO Group has established a regional portfolio of over 54,000 telecommunications towers across nine countries in South and Southeast Asia. The award-winning company is the first regional, and integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company in Asia was ranked sixth amongst the top 100 global telecommunications TowerCos in the world and was named one of three Malaysian unicorns by Credit Suisse in 2021.
