Sivapalan has earlier been honoured with the Sri Lankan Businessman of the Year Award at Business World International Awards 2019, Emerging Interior Designer of the Year Award at South Asian Business Excellence Awards 2019, International Quality Management Award at 32nd World Quality Commitment Conventions held in Paris, France in 2019, Interior Designer of the Year Awards at Business World International Awards each in 2020 and 2021, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Year Award at Business World International Awards 2023, CEO Recognition Award at CEO CEO Awards Night 2021, and Lankaabhimani Award at Achievers’ Awards 2022. In 2019, the South African High Commissioner awarded the Nelson Mandela Peace Prize to Sivapalan for his business excellence and contribution to community development.
D Exclusive expects to contribute to reduce the flow of foreign exchange in Sri Lanka by producing the raw material needed for their products, instead of importing them. They aim to strengthen the local economy by promoting the production of raw material locally. For that purpose, D Exclusive expects to expand their factory located in Moratuwa, create many new job opportunities and develop the national production process.
