DIMO Recognized for Environmental Stewardship at Presidential Environment Awards 2024

Ms. Thanusha Chandrasekera - Head of Operations Compliance - DIMO is receiving the Bronze Award from Mr. Prabath Chandrakeerthi, Secretary to the Ministry of Environment at the award ceremony (LBN)

DIMO secured the Bronze Award in the Vehicle Servicing Centre category at the Presidential Environment Awards Ceremony 2024, held recently at BMICH. This marks the second consecutive year DIMO has been recognized at this prestigious event. The Bronze Award was the highest accolade presented in the vehicle servicing centre category, at the Presidential Environment Awards Ceremony 2024.

 



 

DIMO’s state-of-the-art vehicle servicing facility, DIMO 800, catering to Mercedes-Benz vehicles, was recognized for its exceptional commitment to environmental conservation at this prestigious award ceremony. This facility generates power through the solar panels and established effluent water treatment plant and rainwater harvesting system to mitigate the water wastage. The building employs green technologies such as natural ventilation and lighting, while having an Environmental Management System certified to ISO 14001:2015.
