Dhaka Bank PLC. sings MoU with Dhaka South City Corporation for collecting Holding Tax & Trade License Fee

November 18, 2024 (Monday) for collecting Holding Tax & Trade (LBN)

Dhaka Bank PLC. has signed a memorandum of understating on 18 November 2024 Monday for collecting Holding Tax & Trade License Fee of Dhaka South City Corporation at Nagar Bhaban. Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Maroof, Managing Director & CEO, Dhaka Bank PLC. and Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer, Dhaka South City Corporation signed agreements on behalf of their respective organizations. Mr. A M M Moyen Uddin, Deputy Managing Director, Dhaka Bank PLC, Mr. Sheikh Abdul Bakir, Deputy Managing Director, Dhaka Bank PLC., Mr. Mosleh Saad Mahmud, Head, Liability & Cash Management Unit, Dhaka Bank PLC., Mr. Bashirul Haque Bhuyan, Secretary, Dhaka South City Corporation, Mr. Md. Moniruzzaman, Chief Revenue Officer, Dhaka South City Corporation, Mr. Md. Abu Taiyeb Rokon, ICT Chief, Dhaka South City Corporation and other senior officials of both the organizations were also present at the signing ceremony.

With the collaboration, Dhaka Bank will integrate with Dhaka South City Corporation to collect the fees and taxes from the branches and sub-branches of Dhaka Bank and by establishing 5 collection booths at Nagar Bhaban and in Zonal offices of Dhaka South City Corporation through API connectivity with DSCC servers at the first stage. In the later stage Dhaka Bank will enable the citizens of Dhaka South City Corporation to pay fees and taxes online on real-time basis from anywhere through Dhaka Bank Mobile App and Internet Banking.
