Colourful depictions of the thunderbolt, the logo of Commercial Bank’s ‘Flash’ Digital Bank Account, added to the electric atmosphere at ‘Slow Flow Live’ – the first musical event at the open-air arena of Lotus Tower – which was supported by Sri Lanka’s benchmark private sector bank as Official Banking Partner. Sri Lanka’s biggest bands took the stage to entertain more than 3,500 fans at the event organised by Sun FM.
The Bank’s sponsorship under the banner of ‘Flash’ saw the product’s branding displayed in creative and intriguing fashion across vibrant digital stalls and powered by innovative technology with digital walls, neon lights shaped like the Flash thunderbolt, and splashy backdrops for photo and video opportunities. A dedicated booth also enabled Flash customers to shoot Flash logo-embedded slow-motion videos which they could share on their social media channels.
To increase brand engagement, the Bank also held a raffle draw at the event for its Flash customers. At the close of the night, the grand prize winner of the draw walked away with a weekend getaway to a holiday destination and two consolation prize winners received cash prizes. Additionally, anyone who downloaded the Flash App and registered for an account at the event received an instant gift voucher that could be redeemed at the food stall.
Flash’s brand personality as a trendsetter that introduces new technology and creative solutions to a new generation of customers, was reflected in the activations and installations at the location and suited the electric spirit of the event that sought to provide an international experience to local audiences, the Bank said.
