ComBank’s Flash enables contactless payments for Tenaga Car Park services

Tenaga-on-Flash

Commercial Bank’s ‘Flash’ Digital Bank Account holders can now pay via the app for parking at Tenaga managed on-street and off-street parking spaces, without having to drive around looking for a parking meter, consequent to a partnership between the Bank and Tenaga Car Parks (Pvt) Ltd.

The Parking Management solution is now directly integrated to the Flash Digital Banking application which enables account holders to enjoy this hassle-free, touch-less and cash-less payment option, saving time.

To enable this facility, Flash customers only have to click on the ‘Street Parking’ icon on the Flash app home screen and register their vehicle numbers. When the need to park arises, registered Flash account holders simply specify the time of parking and effect payment online to Tenaga via their phone apps, without visiting a payment booth or locating a fee collector.

Commenting on the launch of this facility, Commercial Bank’s Chief Operating Officer Mr Sanath Manatunge  said: “The partnership with Tenaga is an attempt to provide further convenience to our customers through technology. With this contactless payment option we not only hope to minimise the number of people  that our customers come into contact with, but also eliminate the stress of having to find a parking meter. They no longer have to suffer the consequences of missed parking ticket payments or fines.”
