The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has launched an immersive E-exhibition featuring the outstanding art of the winners of the popular ‘Arunalu Siththam’ Children’s Art Competition 2022. The captivating drawings, meticulously selected from over 11,000 virtual submissions, can now be admired by art enthusiasts and supporters alike via www.arunalusiththam.lk

This unique digital exhibition serves as a platform to celebrate the exceptional artistic talents displayed by young Sri Lankans. The winning drawings, which earned cash prizes and merit awards, take centre stage in the virtual gallery, offering a glimpse into the creativity and imagination of these talented children. Commercial Bank’s initiative aims not only to honour the remarkable achievements of these young artists but also to inspire and encourage more children to participate in future art competitions organised by the Bank.

The Arunalu Siththam Children’s Art Competition is currently in its third edition and second virtual iteration. Earlier this year, the Bank felicitated 137 young artists with cash prizes totalling Rs 3 million at an awards ceremony at the Waters Edge in Colombo.

Pictured here are the first prize winning works of art (clockwise) in the Primary, Post Primary, Junior and Senior categories.
