CodeGen International (Pvt) Ltd., recently announced its collaboration with Emerging Media (Pvt) Ltd., a market leader with the largest outdoor digital screen advertising network, to provide a unique first of its kind solution to automate their digital-out-of-home advertising channels while supporting the organisation’s vision to offer value added services to their advertising trade partners.

A provider of world-renowned innovative technology solutions, CodeGen is pleased to offer this solution, a first in the island, through its FaceRec software, a homegrown innovation developed and engineered by CodeGen.

An AI-based software, FaceRec, utilises a highly scalable method to count and classify objects, moving or static, at multiple remote locations via an installed HD camera.  Thus, enabling advertising agencies, brands, and corporates to measure and quantify advertising returns based on viewership for digital or traditional outdoor and location-based advertising.

“With FaceRec, Emerging Media’s trade partners can now identify best routes for higher visibility, ideal location for targeted advertising etc., for effective distribution of advertising budgets. We want to ensure that brands who have relied on our specialist services receive the optimum returns from their advertising spend and deliver quantifiable results with our latest technology partnership with CodeGen,” stated Emerging Media Founder and Managing Director Sanjeewa Rajapakshe.

“FaceRec technology will enable Emerging Media to craft the best digital and outdoor advertising placement strategies for their trade partners while enabling a great level of transparency,” said Harsha Subasinghe Founder and CEO CodeGen  adding: “All our innovations are designed to enhance the customer experience and fuel revenue and growth opportunities to our clients’ overall business ecosystem. With FaceRec, we also offer solutions to manage touchless attendance, movement monitoring, crowd controlling with the use of our latest AI applications.”

A highlight of CodeGen’s FaceRec software is that it offers fully automated traffic analysis in real-time. In addition, companies can quantify and track viewership trends and changes over time, enabling organisations to optimise advertising strategies. The software can capture the movement of all objects, including people and classes of vehicles; car, three-wheeler, bus, bicycle, van etc., making it a highly valuable intelligent platform for data-driven decision making for advertisers.

Further, Emerging Media will have access to view real-time stats and data via the centralised user portal with automated reporting to identify quantifiable viewership from multiple devices in real-time.

Artificial Intelligence-powered, FaceRec is but one example of the innovative engineering by CodeGen, Sri Lanka’s leading technology provider for multiple industries across the globe, with 600 plus engineers focusing on continuous innovation. The organisation’s state-of-the-art proprietary technology portfolio powers leading global brands in multiple business sectors and is a world-renowned pioneer in high-performance innovations for AI and futuristic technologies.
