CINEC Basketball team emerge as champions at J’pura 3×3 Ballers Unleashed Championship held on 22nd July 2023 at Sri Jayawardenapura University tournament was for 21 universities that included both state sector and nonstate. CINEC and NSBM Green University qualified for the final round at where the CINEC team beat NSBM with 7-6 points. Senal D. Fonseka led CINEC basketball team was taken towards the victory by coach Himal Ranjan Silva and the supervision of Captain Prasanna Sedrick and Poornika Sandamali.
