CFA Society Sri Lanka Launches Virtual Course on ‘Equity Analyst Training’ in association with its Training Partner, Acuity Knowledge Partners

CFA Society Sri Lanka, under the sub-brand “Learnings,” in collaboration with Acuity Knowledge Partners, is pleased to announce an exclusive virtual course titled “Equity Analyst Training.” This course is designed to provide an understanding of the entire equity valuation process. The participant will gain specific knowledge in industry analysis, financial model building, equity valuation methodologies, and investment note writing. Additionally, they will be equipped to form a defensible investment thesis by applying the fundamental concepts learned, which have been carefully structured to ensure a systematic understanding of equity valuation.

 




 

The inaugural course commencement is scheduled for Friday, September 6, 2024, via the Zoom platform, and it will continue until Friday, October 25, 2024, on every Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 11 a.m. For more information on course content and to register, please visit www.cfasocietysrilanka.org.

The course will include 16+ hours of weekly virtual training sessions led by experienced investment research professionals from Acuity Knowledge Partners, including Pranavan Premarajah – Associate Director, Vidula Saundararajan – Delivery Lead, Rihab Faisal – Assistant Director, Sasitha Edirisinghe – Delivery Manager, and Samanmalie Herath, CFA, – Assistant Director.

The course is ideal for financial analysts, investment banking analysts, portfolio managers, corporate finance professionals, business development managers, consultants, experienced finance professionals, private equity and venture capital analysts, and individual investors.
