CFA Society Sri Lanka hosts Guest Lectures at University of Peradeniya with Acuity Knowledge Partners on Debt Security Market in Sri Lanka

 




 

 

CFA Society Sri Lanka, University Outreach committee recently organized a guest lecture at the Department of Business Finance, University of Peradeniya in association with Acuity Knowledge Partners on “Debt Security Market in Sri Lanka” with an objective of tapping into global expertise to enhancing real world knowledge and implications in debt securities and markets.

Dinesh Warusavitharana, President of Society Sri Lanka said that this is organized as part of CFA Institute, University Affiliation Program with universities around the world, we seek to promote ethics-based investment education in university degree programs aimed at developing future finance and investment professionals.

Nuwan Jayawardana, Chair, University Outreach Committee, CFA Society Sri Lanka views the UoP’s engagement with CFA Society Sri Lanka to bring subject matter experts to deliver guest lectures as a reflection of the institute’s commitment to providing the best learning experience to its students. By collaborating with CFA Society Sri Lanka, universities will have access to highly skilled pool of capital market experts who can be called upon to deliver guest lectures, be panelist for conferences and act as consultants to curriculum review committees. I also take the opportunity to thank our resource personnel, Kasun Thanthrimudelige, CFA, Assistant Director at Acuity Knowledge Partners, and Ashika Mendis, Delivery Manager at Acuity Knowledge Partners, for the delivery of an insightful guest lecture.
