Celebrating its 15th year as Sri Lanka’s leading sustainable waste management solutions provider, INSEE Ecocycle, opened its new waste analysis laboratory at the INSEE Ecocycle Pre-processing facility in Katunayake on the 23rd of March 2018.

This will be an extension to the existing analytical laboratory (ISO 17025 accredited) testing facility at the Puttalam Plant. The new waste analysis laboratory will further strengthen the quality assurance and quality control measures of the waste material, bringing it to a pre-processing level of excellence to supply “quality assured ready to feed waste”.

INSEE Ecocycle is gearing itself to become a separate entity during this year, dedicated to proffer an extended range of non-kiln based, “Ecocycle Environment Solutions” (EES) to the businesses and the communities in Sri Lanka. The newly opened lab will provide lab testing services such as, moisture and ash content, heavy metal, viscosity, calorific value analysis and many more, specially catered to the EES corporate customers.

INSEE Ecocycle’s key business partners and regulators such as Central Environment Authority, Marine Environment Protection Authority, Provincial Environment Authority, Registrar of Pesticides, Board of Investment and National Medicines Regulatory Authority of Sri Lanka will be able to use the new lab facility to carry out tests to assure conformity of a variety of waste materials.

INSEE Ecocycle is the only comprehensive industrial waste management solutions provider in Sri Lanka. With the annual capacity of 100,000 MT, it provides environment friendly solutions to the public and private institutions for managing hazardous waste, for over 400 corporates including government institutions in Sri Lanka. Thus far the company has eliminated over 600,000 MT of industrial waste without leaving any environment liability.
