The Young Chartered Accountants’ Forum (YCAF) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) recently organized a CSR project to donate essential equipment to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital in Colombo.

The funds to purchase the required equipment for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit were raised through a fundraiser initiated by YCAF, where a large number of Chartered Accountants contributed towards the worthy effort. The project was part of YCAF’s annual CSR calendar.

The equipment was handed over by the YCAF Governing Council to the Deputy Director of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital Dr. Santhushitha Senapathy and several other hospital staff.

Dr. Senapathy appreciated the efforts of the YCAF and thanked the YCAF membership-based in Sri Lanka and overseas for their contributions, which helped the hospital secure vital equipment in this crucial juncture.

Among the equipment handed over to the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit were Multipara Monitors, Neonatal Saturation Probes, LED Spot Lamps, and Extension Cords.
