Establishing an engaging platform that sets standards in helping redefine the yardstick to measure corporate brain power, by facilitating friendly competition and knowledge sharing among a wide spectrum of industries and corporates through a comprehensive quiz, the ‘Bristol Brain Battle’ is an annual event that is much looked forward to in the local corporate calendar.
As such, due to popular demand, the Bristol Institute of Business Management will once again host its annual ‘Bristol Brain Battle 2021’ for the second-consecutive year, with the event scheduled to kick off on April 06, 2021
Given the restrictions on large-group gatherings and Bristol’s commitment to ensuring its adherence to health & safety protocols, this year’s event will be held virtually.
“Even though there are limitations in how we roll it out this year, we’re confident it will create the same excitement , synergy and competitive spirit among participants from the different corporates as it did last year,” says Chief Operating Officer at Bristol Institute, M.J.M. Dilshad.
‘Bristol Brain Battle’ is poised to be one of the biggest corporate quiz competitions in Sri Lanka this year, where 50 corporate teams will battle for the ultimate victory. In total, there will be three awards and sector trophies to be won, given that the competition will witness the coming together of multiple sectors such as banking/finance/insurance, IT/software, telecom, BPO, travel and hospitality, and shipping and logistics to name some.
The five-round quiz competition will test participants on their knowledge of geography, country/world facts, current affairs, world politics, business, economics, marketing, history, creative arts, sports and entertainment.
Each corporate team will comprise five members who will work alongside each other to take their team through the rounds. Acclaimed Quiz Master Shehan Kumar will host the competition along with the support from the panel of judges.
“In this period of remote learning and working, creating environments that promote a sense of cohesion, collaboration and connection is vital and harnessing this inspiration through our competition is something that we at Bristol embraces. With our annual ‘Bristol Brain Battle’ we are looking to enhance our scope and influence in not just offering structured learning experiences in gaining business skills , but also in shaping a culture of continuous learning and winning via fun and competitive events, which are aimed at the business entities and corporate’s in Sri Lanka.” added Dilshad
