BioMar, global leader in sustainable aquaculture feed solutions, partners with Fortude, a global digital solutions company, to transition its operations to Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage. With 17 production facilities across the world, the company has now successfully upgraded its system in four countries to align with its global standard.

BioMar’s first engagement with Fortude kicked off early last year when its Vietnam plant moved their core business operations to Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage. Following the successful roll-outs in Vietnam and Norway, Fortude is currently supporting BioMar with similar implementations across their Australia and UK plants.

Speaking on the roll-out, BioMar’s Helle Scheelfeldt Lykkegaard, states “Our partnership with Fortude and the recent upgrades brings us a step closer to achieving our vision of an agile digital enterprise. In Fortude we looked for an active partner, experienced with Infor M3 and able to guide BioMar on its Cloud journey and alignment of business processes.”

The global implementation is helping BioMar standardise their ERP for data comparability across the different regional plants and provides the leadership team with company-wide visibility for better business decisions. The upgrade will also enable teams to shift their focus from repetitive tasks to value-added activities.

The Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage solution helps address BioMar’s specific requirements. It not only gives BioMar an understanding of their end-to-end operations but also helps minimise waste, in turn helping them work towards achieving their sustainability goals.

Being a global Infor alliance partner for many years, Fortude is no stranger to implementations of this scale. “Having worked with other businesses in this industry, it was important for us to understand BioMar’s unique requirements and challenges. To drive growth, technology must not be siloed but tied together to achieve complete organisational change. Working with BioMar has given us a great perspective of what many companies across the world are aiming to achieve with their digital investments – greater cohesion between digital solutions and business operations.” added Janindu De Silva, Regional Chief Operating Officer for Europe and UK, Fortude.

BioMar will continue to build on this success to achieve its vision and strategy. The implementations will help create an organisation that’s perfectly streamlined and move them towards the common goal of building a digitised enterprise.
