As the solitary and central trade body and an ardent advocate of the BPO industry; BACCO has successfully organized ‘BPO Summit Bangladesh’ in the year 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019 in association with the ICT Division. The goal was to make a mark on the entire BPO industry, attracting business owners and stakeholders while enlightening young minds about the art of BPO. These four summits have succeeded to grab the concentration of world BPO employers towards Bangladesh as an offshore destination that has great potential for BPO. The BPO Summits in the past took place in Dhaka, the capital city. But for the first time ever, “BPO Summit Bangladesh 2023” is coming to the divisional level as “Divisional BPO Summit”. The divisional summits are to be filled with numerous events such as- career campaigns, career counseling sessions, job fairs, policy dialogue sessions with the local stakeholders etc. Divisional BPO Summits are to culminate in the “Central BPO Summit” in Dhaka. Through this summit, BACCO is hopeful to make ways for new strategic development aligned with the aim of establishing a ‘Smart Bangladesh’ and a more effective BPO sector with 1 lac middle-income sustainable jobs for the youth.
