AMW hosts “The Journey Begins 2025” – Yamaha Dealer Event

Associated Motorways (Private) Limited (AMW) the sole distributor for Yamaha motorcycles and Outboard Motors in Sri Lanka hosted their annual dealer event for Yamaha Sales, Service and Spare Part dealers on the 21st of February 2025 at the Marino Beach Hotel, Colombo. The event was held to encourage and celebrate the achievements of dealers who engaged in the sales, spare parts and service operations of the Yamaha two-wheeler and OBM businesses. It recognized the achievements of dealers across varying categories such as spare parts sales, Yamalube sales, Yamaha Outboard Motor unit sales and the most loyal 3S dealer.
 



 

The event opened with the OBM unit sales conference which covered the strategy for the year 2025. The opening was followed by main session of the event, which consisted of the dealers revisiting the motorcycle spare parts business for 2024 and the strategy for 2025. This was followed by the Yamaha service presentation which consisted of a quick re-cap of 2024 and the service strategy for 2025.

This was followed by the Yamaha Unit sales business strategy for 2025 which was an eagerly awaited topic among dealers. This marks the beginning of a journey of providing Yamaha motorcycles and scooters back to the market after a lapse of five years due to import restrictions placed by the government. The model lineup, pricing and colour options available to customers were disclosed at this event and was well accepted by the audience. The event then went on to recognize the dealers for their achievements by awarding certificates and trophies for the winners of the respective categories.

The theme of the event “The Journey Begins 2025” has been carefully selected to mark the start of a new journey for dealers.
