To commemorate the 15 years of excellence in Education, Amazon Campus launched a special degree scholarships for 500 students. The event was led by the Director, Mr. Ilham Marikar and graced by distinguished guests including International Trainer Dr. Cary Goullston from the United States of America and the Bambalapitiya OIC Mr. Aberatne. The celebration marked a significant milestone for Amazon College, which has garnered numerous local and international awards. This project will help many students who are finding difficulty on university admissions and also the high cost tuition fees charged by many private campuses. For the initial stage Amazon College is introducing only two degrees, which are Bachelor in Education and Bachelor in Political Science, which is recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
Scholarships will be granted based on performance of an entrance exam conducted by Amazon Campus. According to the marks obtained by the student, the scholarships are given. Example: (Student marks is 50, He will be given 50% scholarship). The programs are offered in three languages, ensuring inclusivity and wider access. Amazon College continues to expand its educational offerings, providing opportunities from Diploma, HND, Degree, Masters, PHD levels in various fields including Psychology, Teacher Training, Business Management, and IT.
