Amana Bank Toastmasters Club recently concluded its 5th Officer Installation Ceremony under the patronage of the Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Azmeer as the Chief Guest and other invitees from the Bank’s Management Committee, the Toastmasters fraternity and staff of Amana Bank.
Speaking at the event Amana Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Azmeer highlighted the importance of integrity and trust as key values a Banker, a Professional and a Leader should inculcate in their lives in order to be successful and was happy to note that Toastmasters program encourages such behaviour.
The executive committee for the year 2018/19 will be headed by Toastmaster President Nuwan Fernando, who will be ably supported by VP Education Dilan Joseph, VP Membership Hamza Madany, VP Public Relations Gihan Kehelella, Secretary Shabbir Dole, Treasurer Ruzaik Ramzeen and Sargent At-Arms Abdul Hafeel.
Amãna Bank Toastmasters Club was inaugurated in 2014 and belongs to Area 2 – Division F of District 82. The club was recognised as President Distinguished Club for the tenure 2017/18 by Toastmasters International. Toastmaster Shabbir Dole was awarded the prestigious “Toastmaster of the Year Award” for 2017/18 at the installation ceremony.
