Amana Bank recently recognised one of its Children Savings Account holders who achieved a District 1st Rank (Kegalle) at the 2020 GCE Ordinary Level Examination. Master M N A Aabidh who achieved this distinction representing Zahira College Mawanella was also placed 2nd in the Island amongst all Tamil Medium students who sat the examination. As part of the recognition Amana Bank rewarded Master Aabidh with a laptop to continue pursuing his educational aspirations.

We strongly believe that encouraging and rewarding academic performance is an important aspect in motivating the children to reach great heights and will continue to recognise such exceptional achievements.”
Towards supporting parents to inculcate the savings habit for their children from an early age and setting a strong financial foundation, Amana Bank is gifting a pre-loaded deposit of Rs 1,000/- to each new born account opened. Further as an encouragement to parents to establish the habit of regular savings through monthly standing orders, the Bank will be rewarding the child’s account with a bonus amount equivalent to standing order at the end of the year.
