Amana Bank celebrates World Children’s Day with St. Mary’s Vidyalaya Bambalapitiya

Amana Bank recently marked World Children’s Day with a vibrant celebration at St. Mary’s Vidyalaya in Bambalapitiya. The event, which featured interactive activities and special gifts for the students, highlighted the Bank’s commitment to fostering the well-being of children and cultivating a people-friendly culture from a young age. Through these interactive experiences, Amana Bank aimed to inspire young minds and empower them to become responsible and compassionate citizens.
 



 
As part of the celebration, Amana Bank gifted school bags to each student in the school. The event was graced by Amana Bank’s Deputy Head of OrphanCare Marshad Barry and Asst. Manager – Proposition Brands Charini Bhagya. The school’s principal, G. D. C. Kumudini, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Amana Bank for their timely support, noting that despite the school’s central location in Colombo, it has faced challenges due to insufficient financial support.

Commenting on the Children’s Day engagement, the Deputy Head of OrphanCare, Marshad Barry stated

“At Amana Bank, we are truly delighted to participate in the celebration of World Children’s Day. It is heart-warming to witness the joy and excitement of the school children, reminding us of the impact we can make on their lives. Through our OrphanCare Trust, we are honored to extend our financial to over 3,000 children in orphanages saving them from a second abandonment.’’
