Amana Bank’s Board of Directors has been further strengthened with the inclusion of representation from Senthilverl Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, the Bank’s second-largest shareholder. Founded by renowned high-net-worth investor and medical professional Dr. T. Senthilverl, Senthilverl Holdings (Pvt) Ltd is an active investment firm on the Colombo Stock Exchange, with a diverse portfolio spanning energy, finance, food & beverage, real estate, consumer services, retail and plantations. Having commenced acquiring Amana Bank shares since 2021, Senthilverl Holdings has grown its shareholding of the Bank to 19.9%. 



 

Representing Senthilverl Holdings (Pvt) Ltd on Amana Bank’s Board, Senthilverl Senthi Nandhanan joins as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. With over 20 years of distinguished experience in the corporate sector, Nandhanan also serves as an Executive Director of Senthilverl Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. His expertise spans multiple domains, including sales, marketing, procurement, logistics, and equity trading, further enhancing his leadership in diverse business operations. Nandhanan holds an MBA from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, and is also a distinguished member of the Association of Business Executives.
