Sri Lanka’s most customer friendly bank HNB PLC partnered once again with the Colombo City Centre Residences (CCC) to offer prospective residents of the luxury state-of-the-art apartment complex the unique ZiF (Zero Interest and Fees) facility for the remaining 15 apartments available for occupancy.

The partnership offers customers the exciting opportunity for a down payment as low as 20% up to 50% with immediate occupancy while enjoying the financial relief of a two-year interest-free period on their mortgage payment. HNB Deputy General Manager, Retail & SME Banking Sanjay Wijemanne, HNB Head of Personal Financial Services, Kanchana Karunagama and CCC CEO Praveen Methil were present at the ceremony held to sign the agreement.

“Given the increase in demand for luxury apartments in the real estate market we are excited to extend the partnership with CCC to provide our extensive customer base this exciting opportunity to invest in a home of their own, in the heart of Colombo. This partnership will ensure prospective homeowners can move in to their new homes in comfort and convenience,” HNB Head of Personal Financial Services, Kanchana Karunagama said.

HNB will offer prospective homeowners the bank’s flexible repayment options, such as the Step-up facility, which ensures a repayment option in line with the customers evolving income. Customers can also obtain a maximum repayment period of 25 years for the loan facility for an attractive interest payment.

Notably, HNB will offer customers a five-year grace period for the capital payment of their mortgage, in addition to a revamped loan approval process supported by its state-of- the-art backend systems.

“We are delighted to partner with HNB to offer prospective residents this unique opportunity to invest in their dream home through the ZiF investment scheme. We believe in creating need-based solutions rather than merely selling a product. We have sold more than 90% of the units, we are now providing investors the facilities to conveniently move into a luxury apartment with one of the best views in the city by making a down payment and enjoying zero interest and fees for the next 2 years,” Praveen Methil CEO of CCC said.

As per the partnership, CCC will take on the customer’s interest payment for the first two years and waive off the management fee for the period. All residents at the complex will also attain a freehold title to their apartments.
