Kelani Cables employees recognized with the CEO’s Awards for Sales Excellence

Kelani Cables PLC honoured its outstanding sales persons with the CEO’s Awards for the sixth consecutive year at the Water’s Edge with the participation of Mr. Mahinda Saranapala, Director/CEO, Kelani Cables PLC.

Sripathi Samantha was conferred with the ‘Best Area Sales Manager of the Year’ (Projects) award.

Nalin Samanthilaka bagged the ‘Best Sales Executive of the Year’ award while Roshan Balasuriya and Chinthaka Rajapakshe secured the second and third places of that category.

CEO’s Awards winners Sripathi Samantha and Nalin Samanthilaka for becoming the best performers of the year were offered with cash awards and foreign trips in recognition for their achievements. They have exceeded sales targets of the company set for 2016/2017 to bring in record sales volumes.

Mr. Mahinda Saranapala, Director/CEO, Kelani Cables PLC said Kelani Cables does business with the theme; ‘484 Hearts, One Beat’ and the backbone of the company is its sales force.

“Employees are the backbone of our company. Hence our foremost responsibility is to recognize efforts of these employees annually who contribute towards the success of the company. A socially responsible organization’s duty is to recognize its employees who contribute towards the betterment and sustainability of the organization”, said the Director/CEO.

This year’s award winners Sripathi Samantha and Nalin Samanthilaka have exceeded their sales targets to record massive individual sales volumes. I wish them very best on their achievements on behalf of the entire company”.
