Ceylinco Life has gifted versatile notebook computers to 25 high-achieving GCE Advanced Level students who have received university admission, to facilitate their higher education at a time when e-learning has become the norm.

The donation celebrates the 20th anniversary of the life insurance leader’s ‘Pranama’ scholarships programme, and the 25 beneficiary students had already received scholarships to the value of Rs 144,000 each from Ceylinco Life by virtue of being those who topped their respective districts at the 2019 GCE A/L examination, among the applicants for the latest round of Pranama scholarships.

The Lenovo IdeaPad D330 device chosen by Ceylinco Life for this purpose is a two-in-one detachable notebook computer and lightweight tablet. The presentations of the notebook computers took place at branch level, in conformity with all prescribed health and safety precautions. Pictured here are some of the presentations made at Ceylinco Life branches around the country to celebrate 20 years of Pranama scholarships under which Ceylinco Life has supported 2,887 students with scholarships totalling Rs 167 million.
