As the longest standing meetup in the Sri Lankan startup ecosystem, SPIKE Sri Lanka entered the new decade with revitalized energy this January. Since its initiation back in 2015 by Sam De Silva, SPIKE Sri Lanka has been the premier space for Sri Lanka’s community of entrepreneurs to gather, form connections, and share insights. Happening every last week of the month, SPIKE Sri Lanka regularly sees entrepreneurs, founders, experienced professionals and the startup community building the next-generation of Sri Lankan companies. Through their collective participation, SPIKE Sri Lanka has sparked many important discussions around how entrepreneurs can work together towards developing the Sri Lankan economy and addressing several other societal bottlenecks.
“We’re super thrilled about how we started the year and expect bigger initiatives from SPIKE Sri Lanka over the next few months. I’m ever grateful for the wonderful community that we have gathered over the years, who’re ready to turn up for our meetups even at a moment’s notice.” says Gayantha De Zoysa, Founder of Strive and the long-standing Host at SPIKE Sri Lanka.
The latest edition of SPIKE Sri Lanka was held on the 21st of January 2020 to a full house at the Barefoot Gallery Cafe.
