ComBank heralds Christmas with evocative carol service

Carol-Service-2019

‘Miracle in a Manger’ was the evocative theme of the annual carol service of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon at the Bishop’s College Auditorium recently. The service brought together senior management, staff and their families in a celebration of the birth of Christ and the festive season. The Commercial Bank Choir trained and conducted by Mr Harith Shihan Chamba, a veteran of the choral music scene, treated the audience to a mix of English, Sinhala and Tamil Carols accompanied the Bank’s own musicians. The children of staff members also joined the choir to sing carols.

The event was graced by Commercial Bank Chairman Mr Dharma Dheerasinghe, members of the Corporate and Senior Management and by a large gathering of staff, their immediate family members and ex staff. Rev.Fr. Wilson Gnanadoss, Vicar of Christ Church Galle Face and Chaplain of Bishop’s College Colombo delivered the Christmas Message.
