JB Vantage won not only the Silver but also the Bronze award in the Best Unit Trust category, at the seventh annual CFA Capital Market Awards, held at the Cinnamon Grand recently. This is the fourth consecutive year that JB Vantage has bagged awards in this category, gaining industry recognition as the leading partner for unit trust investments in the country.
Speaking of the win Christine Dias Bandaranaike, CEO, JB Financials said, “It is once again a great honour to be recognized by the cream of the capital market industry. The Capital Market Awards, organized by CFA Society Sri Lanka, is the only industry awards ceremony that recognizes and rewards best performance in Sri Lanka’s capital market. The main objective of the awards is to encourage and reward industry professionals who introduce and adhere to strong standards of excellence in the capital market. The awards recognize gold, silver and bronze winners under five categories – Best Equity Research Report, Best Sector Report, Best Investor Relations, Best Stock Broker Research Firm, and Best Unit Trust.
The Best Unit Trust award recognizes fund management companies that give priority to unit holder interest, promote better compliance and transparency, encourage adoption of best practices in asset management and deliver competitive risk adjusted returns to clients.
