Several activities were conducted during this period at its Colombo, Kandy factories as well as leaf depots to spread awareness under the theme of ‘Mitigating Air Pollution’.

The Company distributed over 500 saplings among its employees in Colombo and Kandy and conducted tree planting campaigns at three of its depots with the participation of business partners. In addition to this the Company conducted several interactive games and quizzes to create awareness on key environmental issues including air pollution and deforestation among its employees. Participants were able to broaden their knowledge on the impacts of several environmental issues as well as methods for mitigation.
