Making a strategic contribution to boosting business confidence and inspiring the business community, The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Acclivity Training and Leo Burnett Sri Lanka are organizing a compelling forum entitled, “Sri Lanka Forward – How Businesses can recover after terror attacks”. This forum will be addressed by Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy, Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka and will have a panel of top industry and business leaders. The forum will be held on 29th May 2019 at the CIMA Auditorium from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. Additional panelists will include Dr. Parakrama Dissanayake – Deputy Chairman & Managing Director, Aitken Spence; Mr. Vipula Gunatilleka, FCMA, CGMA, Group CEO, Sri Lankan Airlines; Mr. Sanath Ukwatte, President, The Hotels Association of Sri Lanka; Mr. Shanil Balasuriya, Director/ Co-Founder, SPA Ceylon; Mr. Abbas Kamurdeen, Chairman, Federation of Information Technology Industry, Sri Lanka; Mr. Sharang Pant, Managing Director, Nielsen Sri Lanka and Mr. Chevaan Daniel, Group Drector, The Capital Maharaja Organization. Ms. Kathsuri C. Wilson, FCMA, CGMA, Managing Director, Hemas Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, Hemas Surgical and Diagnostics Pvt Ltd and Hemas Logistics and Maritime Cluster will be the moderator of what is expected to be a highly engaging and inspiring session.
The timely initiative will discuss how business leaders must take the initiative to lead the country out of the current crisis. They will be discussing the strategies that businesses must adopt in order for industries – large, medium and especially small, to recover post the #EasterSundayAttacksLK.
